About the Teachers
Ms. Carol Chuang received her B. F. A. degree in piano performance from the National Institute of the Arts (renamed in 2001: Taipei National University of Arts) in Taiwan. She came to the U. S.in 1996 and earned a M. M. degree in piano performance from the U.College-Conservatory of Music, U of Cincinnati as a scholarship recipient in 1998. Before moving to Arizona, Ms. Chuang was an active duo pianist performing throughout the Sacramento area and 2005 MTAC Convention in Sacramento, CA. She has been teaching piano lessons for 12 years and her students had won many competitions and performed throughout the Sacramento valley including CAPMT Honors Audition state winner, CAPMT Go for the Gold piano competition prizes, MTAC State Convention, CAPMT Northern California Piano & Ensemble Festival, MTAC Honors Recitals, etc.
Ms. Vicky Lee received her B.A. degree in piano performance from the National Sun Yet-Sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She has been playing the piano for over 25 years and teaching both private piano lessons and group music classes for 10 years. Ms. Lee taught music classes at Saint Dominic High School in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 1997 to 2000. During the period, she was in charge of the gifted students’ music program. Resuming her piano teaching career in Chandler in 2003, Ms. Lee’s students had won several prizes in valley-wide piano competitions, including East Valley piano competition 1st place (elementary level) in 2004 and East Valley piano prize performance winner in 2004 & 2005.
